There are 6 people in front, and 5 in the back, so the people in the back can sort of slot themselves between people in the front row so that the audience can see the back row more easily. We can tweak this formation if we need to later.
We will set up in front of the tower of Orthanc to play as the guests arrive, and then we will move onto the stage inside the house for the costume contest and the rest of the event.

Saturdays are rl too busy for me until maybe December. Sounds like a really fun event. If I make it, it'll be the tail end and not the whole thing. I hope you can get more musicians. See ya in game.

Our next show will be the Windy Acres Ranch Solve-A-Mystery event (on Landroval) that will start at 4pm server time on Saturday, October 24. We will be performing during the first half of the event, and Old Winyards will be playing during the second half. The event will take place at Windy Acres Ranch, 9 Chestnut Street, Raglan, Bree-land homesteads.
So far, here is who we expect to have playing at the concert: Baudaegas, Ashigaru, Freemark, Glofinwing, Vosko, Briallan and Urika. The following alts are also assigned parts for the concert: Saesura, Rahmat, Konungrim, and Brytford. If anyone else would like to show up and play, you can take over the parts of one of the alts.
If you would like to provide your own costume, the main color should be black or orange. Good accent colors are white and purple. Masks are not required, but mask are fine if you'd like to wear one! I will have a men's and women's costume with me at the show, so if anyone needs one, get it from me at the event before we start to play.
The songs and part assignments for this event are here. Note that the songs are arranged in sections (A,B,C,L,Y and Z). Unlike a regular concert where we play all our songs in order, for this event we will be often be playing background music for whatever is going on, and how much time we have to play a particular section of the event depends on factors beyond our control, and so we might jump around from section to section, skipping some songs in the process (songs we don't play this week we will likely play at next week's concert).
I will figure this out soon, and provide details at the event.
Here is an updated timeline of the events (all times are server time):
315pm: All musicians please arrive at the site of the event by this time so we can raid up and discuss any last minute details, including getting a costume for anyone who needs one
340pm: We start playing outside in the yard while guests arrive
400pm: We move the guests inside, and the costume contest starts (we will be playing for the costume contest as well)
430pm: The rules of the game are explained, and the 'game' starts (we will play some background music during the explanation of the rules)
Between about 445pm and 515pm, the 'game' will be in progress, so most people will be away solving the puzzle. So during this period, we will mostly be taking a break, since there won't be many people to perform for .. we will probably only start playing again when enough people have gathered back to hear the solution of the mystery they have been trying to solve.
515pm: people should have returned from solving the mystery, so we will start playing again at this point; the solution to the mystery is announced starting at about 530pm; so, we will play music from about 515pm to 545pm.
At this point we are done performing. The event will conclude with an auction and a concert by Old Winyards for anyone who would like to stay for it.
So, to sort of summarize .. we will be at the event between about 315pm to 545pm, but we won't be playing continuously during that time. I realize that this is sort of long stretch, but don't worry .. we do get a break in the middle, and if anyone needs to leave part way thru, we can replace them with alts
